Kynerja and Sinarmas insurance collaborated since 2017 to implemented PEGA as their new platform to optimized their business needs. Products that have been delivered such as vehicle insurance, re-insurance, healthcare insurance. Complexity of the transition period from the old system to PEGA challenged Kynerja to do a better as a consultant.
- Vehicle insurance. Vehicle insurance have a complex business process where documentation is needed to record all types of vehicle damage or defects to be claimed. Without a proper documentation, a poor decision will surely be chosen and customers will questioned the accuracy of the claim process. With PEGA, documentation can be done in realtime and fully systemized. So It will increase the accuracy and timely claim process.
- Reinsurance. Reinsurance is a product of Sinarmas insurance that responsible for transferring a portions of portfolios to other parties in order to reduce their exposure to claims. With PEGA, Any calculation of premiums and profits also the integration with other parties can be done efficiently. This will ease of the process of claims for users, because the time taken will be notably reduced.
- Healthcare insurance. In Sinarmas healthcare Insurance, Kynerja and Sinarmas team are trying to transitioning the phase from the old system to the pega and integrate claim health system to other support systems such as hospital systems. With PEGA, Kynerja could integrate support system less complicated than using the traditional code-based development.
Due to the complexity of the old system maintenance for healthcare insurance, Sinarmas alongside with Kynerja are changing the current system with PEGA. The integration between Sinarmas system and other hospital, could be efficiently developed using PEGA as the main platform. Due to PEGA ability that didn’t need the use of traditional code based for development and maintenance.
